First run today w/ the new nano and Nike+ kit and all I can say is WOW! Extremely easy to setup, friendly voice advising me of pace, distance, and time plus the "power up" song is cool. As a greedy tech geek there's more features I'd want in this tool and would be more than willing to shell out $$$ for the appropriate add-ons. Yet for $29, this is a MUST have if you're a runner with a nano and maybe a compelling reason to buy a nano by itself!

This link has some simple instructions on how to secure the transmitter to non-Nike shoes that I tested today. The fix works well, but I have yet to calibrate the device to see how close it is to my real distance.

Personally I think Yahoo has leapfrogged Gmail - this new upgrade is the closest thing to Outlook I've seen yet! I would event say Yahoo's beta performs better than the corporate OWA application!

Welcome to my blog! Here's something interesting I found in this month's Computer Shopper, www.goowy.com - a free web-based desktop environment. Includes full email client, games, 1GB of online storage and a slick interface.

A few other favorites:

• Logmein FREE remote access, compare to gotomypc.com
• Google Desktop Great desktop search tool, pressing CTRL twice to find anything is nice
• Google Pack Tons of free stuff including Desktop, antivirus, Google Earth, Picasa, etc.
• Firefox Competitor to Internet Explorer, if you don't have it, get it now
• X1 Best email indexer I've found, this is essential if you use archives.
